Require Tags on your Tickets


Require tickets to have at least one tag prior to closure.

Ensure 100% of tickets follow your desired Actions workflow by requiring at least one tag to be selected per ticket before it can be closed.

To enable tag requirements by role:

  1. From the platform, click Settings .
  2. In the left side pane, click Roles.
  3. Locate the role to modify and click Edit.
  4. Under Actions, check the box for Tag Required on Close under Tickets > Other Actions.
  5. Click Save.

A validation error will show if any user with the modified role tries to close a ticket without at least one tag selected.
