Consolidated image types for more intuitive publishing.
To simplify the photo publishing process for Business Listings, the following image types have been deprecated:
Any photos that were classified with one of these types will be automatically migrated to the new type “Additional Photo.” This umbrella type allows users to include several images that are not specific to any listing site.
Where does each Reputation.com photo type get published?
Specifications for GMB:
- If available, “Google Cover” image will be sent as a cover, else “Cover” is published.
- If available, “Google Logo” image will be sent as a logo, else “Logo” is published.
Specifications for Facebook:
- If available, “Facebook Cover” image will be sent as a cover, else “Cover” is published.
- If available, “Facebook Profile” image will be sent as a logo, else “Profile” is published.
All image types, with the exception of “Additional Photo,” are unique, meaning only one photo can be chosen per type. For example, you can only have 1 “profile” photo, 1 “cover” photo and 1 “headshot;” however, you can have 5 photos classified as “Additional Photo.”
